HOMEWORK SCHEDULE FOR THE CRUSH COURSE:

  • Due before Day 1:

    • Take the Full Length, Digital Adaptive SAT Diagnostic test

  • Due before Day 2:

    •     1. Complete the two Math modules of a Digital Adaptive SAT Practice Test 2
on MY TESTING PLATFORM  link on hoempage
This will be on the Student Dashboard - all the instructions you need.
This will take you less than 1.5 hours.

    •     2. in as much detail as you can,
Look at your DIAGNOSTIC TEST RESULTS on MY TESTING PLATFORM
(that platform gives you SOOOOOOO much detail, it’s awesome)
AND look at the SAME results from the TWO MODULES of HOMEWORK due before class tomorrow (not due by midnight)

    •         AND IN AS MUCH DETAIL AS YOU CAN,
BUILD A LIST OF YOUR COMPARATIVE WEAKNESSES - the question types, concepts, items, things you MISS MOST

In R/W that usually looks like QUESTION TYPES
You can IDENTIFY QUESTION TYPES by looking at their QUESTION STEMS (the question part, the thing that sometimes                 ends in a question mark, the thing that assigns you a task to do or asks you a question)
Try to identify the QUESTION TYPES (the QUESTION STEMS) that you MISS THE MOST
Or ANY OTHER THEME THAT YOU NOTICE IN R/W

    •         In Math, it’s just CONCEPTS
look for CONCEPTS THAT SHOW UP MOST FREQUENTLY IN YOUR MISSED PROBLEMS

Make a LIST THAT IS AS THOROUGH AS YOU CAN
OF THE ITEMS YOU MISS MOST IN EACH SECTION
UPLOAD IT VIA YOUR STUDENT DASHBOARD (ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU NEED WILL BE ON THE DASHBOARD)
                         AND BRING THAT TOMORROW

  • Due before Day 3:

    • No new written assignments to complete

      • If you want to finish the Digital SAT Practice Test that you started before Day 2, that's fine

      • But it's very important not to burn yourself out in the week before the test

      • And we've been doing a lot of work in class and in studying our class notes and materials

      • So, if in doubt, just focus on mastering what we've been working on in class

        • (see the next item below)

    • Ensure that you have mastered the item we have discussed thus far in Days 1 and 2.

      • Using the recordings and Whiteboards, ensure that you fully understand and can recall the items covered

  • Due before Day 4:

    • No new written assignments to complete

      • Start building a checklist of the most important items for you personally still to master before test day

        • Begin working on mastering those items

    • Ensure that you have mastered the item we have discussed thus far in Days 1 and 2.

      • Using the recordings and Whiteboards, ensure that you fully understand and can recall the items covered
  • Due before Day 5:

    • No new written assignments to complete

    • Finish compiling your personal list of most important topics to master

      • And finish mastering these topics

      • Go back through our notes, whiteboards and recordings from the week

      • Carefully review the most heavily-tested and most troublesome concepts for you personally

      • Be sure to submit any questions you have via the question submission form

    • Be ready to discuss any remaining concerns you have on Day 5

    • REMEMBER: THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO ON THE DAY BEFORE THE SAT IS OFTEN NOTHING AT ALL

      • So if you are feeling burned out because you've been working hard all week,

        • consider resting on Friday instead of attending class or studying further

      • Showing up FRESH and SHARP on test day will help your score FAR MORE than cramming will
